Disclosure: I received this product for editorial consideration/review from dr. brandt. As always, all thoughts and opinions remain 100% my own.
As I look around at my beauty stash, I’m noticing that I’m adding more skincare products to my routine, rather than makeup. I still love a pretty pink lipstick and a dramatic mascara, but let’s be real, I have to take care of the canvas first. Especially since I turned the big 3-o a few months ago.
Naturally, when the folks at dr. brant reached out to me about their new 3D Filler Mask, I was intrigued. Especially because this new cutting-edge mask was inspired by the dermal fillers that are used in their medical office. I haven’t made the leap to fillers yet (not sure if I will in the future), but I wouldn’t mind some of the visual benefits.
What really captured my attention were some of the anti-aging ingredients that the mask includes:
- Adipofill’in™ Complex: Contains hyaluronic acid; visually revolumizes, fills, and reshapes the appearance of face contours.
- Peptides: Helping to reshape the appearance of face contours.
- Adipofill’in Encapsulated Amino Acids: Help maintain volume and minimize the look of wrinkles overtime.
And the things it DOESN’T include:
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Phthalates
Something that I love about dr. brant is their packaging design. Their brand is about performance and it shows in their sleek design and components. This particular product came in a round tub and also included a good quality brush for application.
dr. brandt 3D Filler Mask Review
I followed the instructions that came with the mask, and the most important thing to keep in mind is to apply the product in an inverted triangle. I started at my chin and swept the brush across my cheek, back down to my chin. As you can see, this created a triangle shape on my face. I applied the mask heavy so that you can see how you should apply the mask, but keep in mind that is a leave on mask, so you don’t need to cake it on, since you want it to absorb into your skin. Also, feel free to add a little extra to the areas with more lines and wrinkles.
The mask feels really luxurious when applied and it had a nice silky texture, making it easy to sweep on.
I usually leave it on my face while I’m doing chores around the house or cooking dinner. If I still have some left on before I go to bed, I just wipe off the excess.
While wearing the mask, it feels really cold on my skin and tingly. I’m assuming that whatever makes it tingle makes my skin a little red (no itch or irritation), and gradually fades away.
For optimal performance, it is recommended that you use the product daily. Personally, I have been using it for about a week and I feel that my skin appears plumper and feels very soft after wearing the mask. I have noticed that my pores appear much smaller and my skin feels firmer, while appearing plumper. In all honesty, I don’t have many fine lines and wrinkles, so I can’t really say too much about the performance on that end. However, I do have a few frown lines. I HATE my frown lines, but these lines do appear softer, which I’m not complaining about!

I agree Bobbi… It’s for us older women. I am 70 but everyone takes me for approaching 60 (which is a good thing for me!) I just started using this yesterday and already I like what I’m seeing.
