Fact: I love everything about Trader Joe’s.
I first discovered my love for Trader Joe’s when I lived in New York in 2010. I will admit, back then my favorite item was the cookie butter (and it’s still one of my favorites), but in the last year I’ve discovered a secret section that I’m obsessed with.
Tucked in a tiny area of the store, is an area that every gal loves—the beauty section! It’s not flashy and can be easy to missed if you aren’t paying attention, but once you find it, it’s a gold mine! The beauty isle is usually stocked with organic and natural skincare products, which I’m a huge fan of. I already wear all kinds of products on my face and although I try to stick to organic makeup now days, I still expose myself to all kinds products as a beauty aficionada. When it comes to skincare, I try to go au natural to redeem myself from all my cosmetics wrong doing.
You know what’s the best part about the beauty section at Trader Joe’s? It’s incredibly cheap! Compared to other grocery stores and retailers, it almost seems like they are giving this stuff away for the price they sell it for. Shhh! Don’t tell them. I’d like to keep it that way.
I’ve tried a lot of beauty products from Trader Joe’s in the last few months, but I’ve narrowed down to my top 3 to share with you today. These are the products that I think every woman, regardless of age or skin type, should keep stocked in their bathroom cabinet.
3 Must-have Beauty Products from Trader Joe’s
- A Midsummer Night’s Moisturizing Cream ($3.99)- I have dry skin and it’s especially noticeable when I get out of the shower. This inexpensive cream has a luxurious feel, for a fraction of the cost of a high-end cream. It feels thick and creamy when it’s first applied, but quickly absorbs into the skin. Best of all, no greasy reside. It’s packed with nourishing ingredients such as aloe vera and avocado oil to quickly heal dry, chapped skin. Last but not least, it’s not tested on our furry friends!
- Trader Joe’s Organic Virgin Coconut Oil ($5.99)- I’m sure this won’t come as a shock to you, but coconut is all the rage in the beauty world. Do you know of one beauty blogger that hasn’t hyped this stuff up? Speaking for myself, I can’t live without coconut oil. I use it in my weekly beauty régime from a coconut almond foot scrub that I recently whipped up, to a relaxing lavender face scrub that I love to indulge with. Need more reasons to incorporate this stuff into your beauty routine? Check out my 10 beauty used for coconut oil.
- Trader Joe’s Spa 100% Pure Jojoba Oil ($5.99)- This is a product that I recently introduced into my skincare routine, but it’s here to stay. There are tons of uses for Jojoba Oil and since it’s an astringent, it’s safe to use on your face without clogging pores. I personally like to use it as an eye makeup remover, since ultra-black waterproof mascara has nothing on Jojoba oil. I simply apply a few drops on a cotton ball and gently rub away my eye makeup.
What is your favorite beauty product from Trader Joe’s? Do you have any that you just can’t live without?

I love Trader Joe’s, it is a long drive from where we live now, but I go there as often as I can. It is an hour drive, but worth it. Thanks for the reminder.

Hi Sahily!
I absolutely agree with you – the beauty isle at Trader Joe’s is a GEM. I love, love, love the Organic Coconut Oil, I use it for everything: cooking, on my hair, on my face. I also love their soaps, especially the French Lavender one, the oatmeal exfoliant and the oatmeal and honey soap.
Hugs,
Rally

I’m glad that you like it. It’s such a great product and incredibly cheap as far as price goes! I keep it on my night stand so that I can put some on my hands and feet before bed each night.
