We Have Fun And Games! Well, at least Constantine Does 🙂
I’m posting my first SFX Halloween look of an “Evill Clown”, which my friend named Constantine. To change things up, I took pictures step by step, so you can give this a try at home. FYI, all of the props and prostetics were created by me. Enjoy!
1. First, I applied white Face paint ( I used Wolfe Paints) all over my face. Then, I created eye brows and creases using balck paint. The brows play a very important role in creating a persons look and character. I made my brows, arched, thick and slightly off balanced to give an evil look. After, I applied Sugarpill’s Love+ as the red eye shadow.
2. I drew on the clown strips around the eyes.
3. Then, I created a wound on my forehead using scab gel and fake blood. The trick to making the blood look messy is to use a stippling sponge.
4. Using a circle dotting sponge (used for crafting typically), I applied circles on my cheeks, using Sugarpill’s Dollipop. I first wet the sponge to make sure the color came out very concentrated. Afterm I made an outline of the desired shape of the mouth I wanted, with a dark red paint. I then traced the lines in a slightly lighter shade of red (if you can use a bit of white to lighten your red).
5.After, I filled the inside of the mouth with black paint. Using spirit gum, I applied the teeth/gums prostetics that I created using molding putty, nicotine stain, and acrylic nails. Once they were in place, I added pink paint around the gums so they would blend in better with the mouth. I also placed blood on some of the teeth. When I was all done, I outlined the lips with a thin black like to create definition.
Heres The Finished Product!
