Price:

Shipping/Delivery: The total cost for shipping was a flat $5.00. OCC is based out of New York and I live in South Florida, so it generally ships to me within 3 to 5 days.
Product Packaging: OCC takes a very minimalist approach to packaging, which I like for my pro products. The products are clearly labeled without a bunch of extra colors and labels. Don’t get me wrong, I love cute packaging, but for my pro products, clear and simple labels make it much easier to find things while working on a shoot.
The Verdict: I finally got a chance to try OCC Skin: Airbrush Foundation and the Primer. Recently, I have heard lots of chatter about OCC airbrush formula and primer from many other artist from various websites and forums. Many artist rave about there products. After looking at their work with these products, the skin looked stunning for HD photography. So, I decided to give it a try for my friends engagement shoot.
In genral, I love that OCC products are 100% Vegan and Cruelty free. I also think the products are reasonably priced without sacrificing quality. Now that I got that out there, here’s how I feel about the products.
The Primer is the best primer I have ever used! When applied, it feels like a gel and can be applied using your finger tips of a foundation brush (I like to use my fingers). This primer really preps the skin well and helps to fill fine lines and minimize pores. The only complaint I do have, is when you initially apply the product it laves the face feeling sticky. The best explanation I can give is that it almost feels you are wearing a plastic mask for a minute or two. on the bright side, once it dries, the plastic feeling goes away. I think the reason it does this, is because its creating a base for the makeup to stick to. As long as it works in the end is whats important here!
The airbrush foundation is also amazing. I purchased the yellow based mini skin set to give them a whirl. The 6 mini bottles offer a great range of colors and can be mixed to create an exact match for any skin tone. The formula offers exceptional coverage and can be applied with an airbrush, or with a beauty blender. I used the foundation with my Dinair Airbrush system ( I need to save up for an OCC System) since they are both water based. I had no problems with this, actually It worked much better than the Dinair formula. The best feature about the OCC airbrush product is that it works fantastic for HD and does not feel heavy or cakey at all!
I have to say, I have always been satisfied with all my experiences with OCC. Their products are wonderful and so is there customer support.
My friend loved her finished result for her engagement shoot. She had never worn airbrush makeup before and could not believe the coverage was so opaque, yet it left her skin feeling soft and light. Here is a pic from her shoot.

Can someone please tell me why airbrush foundations (inc. the OCC Skin) leave ones face feeling sticky? This is not the first water based airbrush foundation I have used that leaves the skin feeling this way. Is there something I’m doing wrong? Note I’m talking about applying straight from the bottle. I have used this with a primer, without a primer, direct over moisturizer and with several application techniques. I want to achieve the best result and make sure I’m not doing anything wrong. I love all OCC products I’ve used, especially the creme color concentrate in John Doe for contouring!! It’s AMAZING and the perfect color. Look no further for a creme contour product – this is it!
