I would like to introduce you to Rachel Clarke from Mr. Ralphie’s Madhouse. Rachel is taking the stage this month and has created a very unique look for my “Halloween 2012” makeup series. She is well-known in the beauty blogging community for her over the top creative looks and special-fx makeup skills. She is absolutely amazing at creating interesting characters! Make sure to check out her blog for more of her wild looks!
Name? Rachel Lee Clarke
Where are you from? Originally from Australia, currently residing in Canada.
Name of your blog and what it’s about? ‘mrralphie’s madhouse’ my blog is simply about posting crazy weird looks that I come up with, as a hobby, and hoping the other crazies like them 😀
What inspired you to create this look? I’ve always been fascinated with the story of “Alice in Wonderland” and came up with scenarios involving her becoming a permanent fixture in Wonderland. Eventually I see her morphing into this unrecognizable lunatic that can’t escape, (in this case spliced with the Cheshire Cat) but some part of her, the real Alice is still in there aching to be free. I wanted the look to seem slightly cartoonish like the original “Alice in Wonderland” Disney movie and sightly Halloween gory 😀
I hope you guys like it, i’m still practicing my painting skills haha.
