Hi everyone, my name is Rachel from Makeup by Rachel. I love makeup and am so fortunate to be able to work doing what I love. When I’m not making people pretty, I’m a stay at home mom to my 1-year-old son who entertains me like no one else in the world 😉
The look I have for you today is one of the first looks I did for my blog, and it’s definitely one of my favorite. I have received requests for the tutorial for it, so here it is. But first, my before and after pictures:
3) Apply maroon eye shadow in the crease.
5) Apply some black eye shadow on the outer corner of your eyelid.
9) Finish off the look with mascara.
I’m not quite sure which I like better. They came out almost identical, except for the lighting in my pictures, which I’ve gotten better at with time.

Tutorial:
1) Prime your eye with your favorite eye primer.
2) Apply a silver eye shadow on your entire eyelid.
3) Apply maroon eye shadow in the crease.
4) Blend it in an upwards motion using a cream eye shadow.
5) Apply some black eye shadow on the outer corner of your eyelid.
6) Apply black eyeliner as shown.
7) Apply a thin line of NYX jumbo pencil as shown.
8) Using a thin brush, apply green eye shadow right on top of the NYX eyeliner.
9) Finish off the look with mascara.
10) Apply a maroon lipstick.
Here is the completed look:
