Your so vain! But this song isn’t about you.
I took some step-by-step pictures, in case anyone wants to try this at home. This is my unzipped look, inspired by what’s inside you you. Are you full of gears? Cupcakes? Robots? Or just pain flesh and blood! I chose flesh and blood…read on to find out why. This look is totally gross and makes a good last minute costume. Before doing the SFX, I applied my eye make up. I chose to use Sugarpill’s After Party(Blue) and Tako(White), as well as a light green by Inglot. However, you can do any eye look you would like.
Steps:
These are the supplies I used, as well as a 12′ zipper which I forgot to photograph. |
Start my applying the zipper (preferably a color that matches your skin) using liquid latex. |
After you apply the zipper with latex, apply a few coats of latex to blend the zipper with your skin. Then, apply foundation and blend it in to the rest of your face. |
Using red shades of grease paint apply the blood base. You may add as much liquid/gel blood as you would like. You can also add fresh blood drips if you would like. |
Here’s The Finished look
My vision for this look was a very vain, self centered young woman who thinks she’s better than the rest, but below her “Fake” appearance and shallow personality, she still bleeds red like everyone else.
