This month I’m going to start a fun, new makeup series called “Blast From The Past.” For the next few weeks I will revamps some of past makeup looks. Some of the looks are makeup looks that I used to rock when I was younger, and some are redo’s of my first portfolio images. So after digging through my old photo albums and Myspace page, I have found a collection of looks to redo. I apologize in advance for the poor quality of some of my flash back photos.
2006- First, I would like you to know that in 2006 this was my “going out look.” I was 21 and had recently discovered MAC’s “Aquadisiac”. I was unstoppable! I’m pretty sure I was also wearing Crystal Avalanche as the highlighting color. I wore minimal foundation, and no lipstick. I HATED lipstick, and still kind of do. I’m surprised I was not wearing black eyeliner, because I have always been a fan of black rimmed eyes.
2012- To start with, In my revamp I am wearing MAC Studio Finish Foundation in NC42, with the matching concealer. I still love wearing teal eyeshadow, but I have switched to Sugarpill’s Mochi instead. I paired the bold shadow with a smooth transitioning color (MAC’s “Bamboo”), and used MAC’s “Ricepaper” to highlight my brow. I have also added a thick, black winged liner. I can’t forget the subtle glow on the checks (I used MAC’s “Dainty”) and lip color! I have always hated the feeling of thick glossy stuff of my lips. Thank God I discovered OCC Lip Tars!!!! I’m wearing “Hush” in my 2012 look. Overall, this look is much smoother, while still keeping the focus on the eyes. Adding the black liquid liner also defines my eyes much better.
Which look do you like best? 2006 or 2012?
Side note: I am beginning to prepare for my favorite series of the year, HALLOWEEN 2012. Please submit any requests for looks in the comment section below, or via email.

Thank you Jessica. I used “Mochi” by Sugarpill. It is one of the new colors that was recently released in the Heartbreaker palette.

That’s crazy I thought about doing that after I went through old looks and was like “what the hell was I thinking!?” Looks gorgeous!

Thank you! This when I first started to take makeup more seriously. I wore makeup since I was 14, but I didn’t really try hard. I had to discover MAC, to finally take it seriously! lol
