The new Naked 3 palette is by far my favorite Urban Decay Naked Palette yet!
For starters, I really love the packaging. The set of shadow shades are properly protected in a snap-lock pencil case, perfect for clumsy beauty aficionadas like myself. It’s similar to the Naked 2 case, except it has a glamorous wavy texture. It also includes a generously sized mirror and a brush. This isn’t your mother’s makeup brush; it’s a nifty double-sided pro-quality brush that doesn’t shed. Hurray for no random hair strands lingering on your face!
The nice thing about having the duo-brush is that it’s great for when you are on the go. Actually, the entire packaging is travel friendly, which is perfect not only for the average woman, but makeup artists’ with limited kit space.
The Naked 3 palette includes 12 shadows that are mostly metallic finishes with a few perfectly curated mattes. Several of the shadows have rosy hues, which is awesome since rose-gold has become such a popular element in fashion. Not only is this palette a great bang for your buck ($4.33 per shadow), but also it’s also very versatile. The colors can work on a wide range of skin tones, since these are fairly neutral shades.
Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette Swatches
When I first opened my palette I couldn’t believe how beautiful these shadow shades were. After sticking my fingers in each colors I quickly found out that the shades are pigmented, blend easily and are long wearing. But, like with every makeup palette, their will always be amazing colors that you love more than others.
I feel that Urban Decay nailed it in the formulation process, except with one shade—Dust. This may be a personal preference, but I wish the glitter particles in this shadow would have been finer. It can cause a bit of fall out, but turns out very pretty when applied wet.
I would buy this entire palette all over again for one color—strange. This ivory shade has a soft sheen making it my new go-to highlighter. I use it to highlight my brow bone, but also use it in the inner corner of my eyes, bridge of my nose and to highlight my cheek bones. It looks amazing in photos and it’s a great highlight color for bridal work.
Overall, I love the Naked 3 palette and haven’t put it down since I got it. I have used it daily on myself and for for bridal clients that I recently worked with.

Bonus: The Naked 3 Palette comes with 4 sample pods of their primer potions. These primers promise to offer vibrant, crease-free color for 24 hours and they are not lying! These are a must have when using sparkly shades, especially colors like Dust.
The Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette is available for $52.00 at a Sephora near you.
If you are in the Boynton Beach, Florida area, head over to my favorite Sephora inside of the Boynton Beach Mall. The service is great and they usually have what you are looking for in stock! If not, you can purchase this palette directly from the Urban Decay website.

I love the colors. I wish they would’ve added more matte shades. 😉

I agree Sue. As I have gotten older, I prefer matte shades better, but I have found this palette to be very useful for my bridal work.
