5 days of fun in the sun, 50 bands, and 3 stages later, SunFest in Downtown West Palm Beach wrapped up its 34th successful year. The annual event is South Florida’s biggest music and art festival and it ended its last night with a bang (literally!) with a extraordinary fireworks show.
I’ve been attending SunFest since I was a kid and I have never seen such a huge turn out for the event. There was barely room too move, as people crowded in every inch of the space. People of all ages were jammin’ to the music, dancing, and just having a great time soaking up some sun next to the waterfront. I have to say, this year was really spectacular! The crowd was energetic and really helped to keep the performers pumped during their performances.
As a fashionista, I was excited to be able to sport some of my favorite festival fashions to SunFest.
Here is what I wore on the opening night of SunFest:
Then, here is the look I wore on Saturday night:
Can you tell that I love my little pink crossbody? It’s my favorite bag and rarely put it down!
Asides from checking out all of the performers at SunFest and meeting up with friends, I love to visit the vendor booths at SunFest. Artist come from all over the state to showcase their works of art and I rounded up a few of my favorite!
Seriously… how much more South Florida can you get? I love the colorful art work that West Palm Beach local, Sarah Lapierre, creates using paint and a palette knife. While she works on traditional surfaces such a canvas, she also works her palette knife on heels and this beautiful dress! If only this tropical frock was available in a size 16!?!? I love it!
If you follow me on Snapchat, you are probably well aware that I’m on a crystal kick. I love the beauty of these stones and the natural healing powers that they have. These handmade earrings by Dresden Kincaid of Earth Culture Jewelry are absolutely stunning! She is super sweet and eager to make custom pieces that fit you individual style. You can also visit her website to see more of her work!
Steampunk art always captures my attention. In all of the hustle and bustle of SunFest, I was happy to spot these unique steampunk gear rings by Steampunk Smuggler. Each of of these rings was its own mini masterpiece, but the compass ring was my favorite!
