Spring has officially sprung in Seattle and blooms are popping up all over the city. It’s nice to see all of the beautiful flowers that have emerged letting us know that warmer and sunnier days are officially on the horizon. For Seattle Fashion Bloggers this means that we can officially bring out our favorite style essentials to welcome spring. From floral prints, to chambray and metallics, the Seattle style community is embracing all of the hottest spring trends and incorporating them into their wardrobe as we transition into the new season.
Today, I’m sharing a round up of how some of Seattle’s top fashion bloggers are doing spring style and their inspiration for the season!
Seattle Fashion Bloggers Do Spring Style
I’ll start off this round up with my spring style inspiration: floral prints! After the greyiest few months of my life (I’m still a Seattle newbies that transplanted from sunny South Florida), I’m ready to incorporate colorful floral prints into my wardrobe. One of my favorite ways to do that is with my floral print bomber jacket, which I love to style with just about any outfit!

Spring Style Inspiration: My inspiration for Spring is definitely the “off the shoulder” trend. I think the shoulders are one of the most beautiful features on a woman no matter what age you are!
Portia of Obsessed By Portia
Spring Style Inspiration: Once the weather warms up and the blooms arrive, I’m inspired to bare a little more skin, add a rosy hue to my makeup and bring out my archive of sun hats! You can never have too many. 🙂
Erica of The Truth Tea
Spring Style Inspiration: For Spring, I’m definitely heading towards Rompers. Last year I started wearing them and became obsessed. Since it’s still cold here in Seattle, I’ve been pairing Rompers with tights or hats/boots to help provide some warmth but still allow me to wear these this season. As it gets warmer, I’ll be throwing on some flats or sandals and breaking out my lighter rompers. For now, thick ones like this wool one I thrifted will do!
Bailey of Hot Dress Hot Mess
Spring Style Inspiration: In Seattle, springtime can mean experiencing winter and summer temperatures in the same day. When shifting to spring style, I am all about layering and balancing my outfit with different fabrics. For instance, the outfit in this photo is balanced with a thick turtleneck and booties (perfect for winter) and paired with a mini skirt (perfect for summer). Combining both winter and summer pieces allows you to be comfortable all day even when the weather is constantly changing.
Kate of All Things Kate
Kate’s Spring Style Inspiration: Spring in Seattle is a wonderful time of year! After the short and cold winter days, entering into spring is such a happy time! I automatically start gravitating towards bright colors and bold patterns (transitioning out of the black leggings and oversized sweaters). The spring blooms, particularly the cherry blossoms, are an inspiration for my spring style!
Kelsey of Northwest Best Dressed
Kelsey’s Spring Style Inspiration: Spring fashion means embracing more feminine looks like florals and pastels, as well as lighter texture clothing such as silk, lace, and satin. My favorite look for spring is a feminine floral top (like this kimono), with a pair of light wash, cropped jeans, paired with a fun shoe. Spring is great because you can get away with wearing any type of footwear…sandals, flats, boots, heels; anything goes!
Valerie of Maple Leopard
Valerie’s Spring Style Inspiration: It is great to cruise into spring with a contemporary nautical look. Crisp, clean seaworthy style will instantly transport your mind to life on the shore. A blue color palette is expressive of the sea and sky vibes here in the Northwest.
