Lime Crime Lip Colors
Cost: $16 bucks a pop, however I purchased these during the 4th of July Sale with a 35% discount!
Shipping: I’m not going to lie; it took nearly three weeks to receive my order. The 35% sale seemed to be a hit, so some products were on back order and caused a delay. Lime Crime was very good at keeping me posted on the status of my order. In a normal circumstance, I don’ think it usually would take so long.
Packaging: First of, the shipping package was uber cuteness! I was so happy to see a teal polka dot box in my mail box; I knew for sure it was my Lime Crime order at first sight! My lip colors were neatly tucked into a piece of green tissue paper with a Lime Crime business card.
The product packaging is also very cute. All of the lip colors come in a purple box with holographic Lime Crime print. The actually lipsticks match the packaging. I’m totally digging the holographic unicorns on all of the packaging and products
.
The Product: Just a quick informational blurb for those who have not heard or know little about Lime Crime. The company was founded by Doe Deere a New York makeup artist and beauty blogger. Derre, better known as the “Unicorn Queen” created the line because she was in search of very pigmented colors.
The following swatches are on my lips so that you can get an idea what they look like on. Please excuse my silly faces, I was feeling very Nicki Minaj inspired with these shades 🙂
Note: I lined my lips with NYX Dolly Pink when I applied D’LILAC and Great Prink planet. I used NYX Mint as liner with Mint to Be.

These are the swatches of all the lip colors I purchased. To swatch I stroked the area 5 times. These were the results:
Great Pink Planet
D’LiLAC
Mint To Be
Here are a few Looks I Tried with them:
The Verdict: I have nothing but great things to say about my Lime Crime lip colors. The colors are all very smooth and creamy, and I love how they feel on my lips. Each shade is very pigmented and applies opaque. I chose to use a lip liner when I applied them, but you really don’t need it. The colors are also totally wild, which is why I purchased them in the first place. I’m the kind of girl that likes to make a statement! If you are more on the conservative side, no worries, these colors are also fun to mix to create softer look. Mint to be can also be paired with a red lip color to neutralize the shade if you wish. These colors were definitely worth the price and I look forward to trying more in the future. Holy Brightness! I’m still blinded by how intense the Lime Crime colors are!
