(Models: Racheli, Jenny, Andrew) |
Chris of Chris Kruger photography and Lindsay Barbier did a fabulous job at capturing the the right images for this theme. Both photographers were once again, amazing to collaborate with and really brought this shoot to life!
About The Make Up:
Where do I begin? It took at alot of guts and gore! ok I’m kidding more like 24oz of corn syrup, lots of latex and a whole lot of researching. Although I have experience with cuts, bruising and making blood, I wasn’t to familiar with zombies. I watched a few zombie movies (Including my new favorite series, The Walking Dead) and did some googling to get an idea what kind of zombies I wanted.
Then, I basically experimented with the concept. I did one zombie super gorey (Andrew), and gave him an exposed chin bone, decayed skin, cuts and scratches. Racheli, was my recently infected zombie. This new zombie had severe cuts on her right shoulder, extensive bruising, and blood everywhere. Lastly, Jenny, who was not yet a zombie, but a victim being chased by them just had a minor scratch on her cheek. I gave Jenny a rocker chic look, which was inspired by Kat Von D.
I’d love feedback on what you think of my finished looks?
P.S. I told you we had a pooping zombie 🙂
