When it comes to skirts, the skater skirt has my heart. This fun skirt has a flirty silhouette that is very flattering for a wide variety of body types. I have a few different skaters in my closet, from solid to printed skirts, but this Karen Kane skater skirt is my latest temporary addition.
If you are wondering why I say temporary, then read on!
Gwynnie Bee gave me the opportunity to try out their subscription service and sent me this Karen Kane Indigo Ink skirt to try out. This is the first time I tried a clothing subscription service and I love the whole concept of a rental wardrobe right at my finger tips.
Here’s how it works: You sign up for Gwynnie Bee and pick the best program for your needs (PS- You can start with a 30 day free trial). Then, you shop their closet online to find your favorite fashion picks. Gwynnie Bee will then send you the items you picked, along with a return envelope and shipping label. Once you get tired of rockin’ your pieces or see something new you want to try, you simply send your items back and order your new picks. If you fall in love with something (which is so easy to do!), you are able to purchase items for less than retail price. Pretty cool huh? I find that this is a great way to stay on trend, especially if you are on a budget.
The only thing better that discovering Gwynnie Bee, was having the opportunity to be featured on their blog. Myself, along with two other fabulous bloggers are sharing our spin on styling a skater skirt. You can take look the post here!
