Event Racp: #OnTheCup at Neiman Marcus, Boca Raton
Last Thursday, I attend a fashionable event at Neiman Marcus, Boca Raton that supported a great cause for a local organization in South Florida. Neiman Marcus Boca Raton and Vogue magazine partnered with the Nat King Cole Generation Hope, Inc., an organization dedicated to providing music education to children with the greatest need and fewest resources.
The event celebrated its founders Casey and Timolin Cole’s birthday, with a fun-filled evening that showcased the hottest fashion trends of the season.
The cocktail party was held in the CUSP department at Neiman’s, also known as the area where the fashion gods blessed every rack with must-have items. Models brought these pieces to life as they walked through the event and showcased the latest trends and styling ideas. FYI, almost every look included boots and plaid. If you haven’t added these pieces to your fall/winter wardrobe, get a move on it because they are seriously trending!
They also had several trendy accessory displays, showcasing mixed metals and rose pink, which are also very trendy this season. Rose pink looks exceptionally well paired with metals such as gold and silver.
Asides from having stylish clothing and accessories, the event also had tons of entertainment. The room was filled with the sounds of 2 NYC DJs and the aroma of tasty little bites that circulated the room. My Favorite? The Oreo cookies and mini milk shot glasses, of course! Between munching and sipping on a Raspberry Mojito, I got an airbrush tattoo by Raquel or Rock n’ Faces, I chose a hot pink pout since I was off to The Make up show the following day. I also tried the very popular claw game 3 times, and to my surprise I actually grabbed 2 Neiman Marcus goodie bags!
I had a wonderful time and was honored to be a part of fashion event that supports a great cause. 100% of the proceeds collected from the event will benefit Nat King Cole Generation Hope, Inc. and their mission to provide music education to children with the greatest need and fewest resources.
