Disclosure: A free month of BeautyDNA was provided to me for editorial consideration. As always, all thoughts and opinions remain 100% my own.
As a beauty blogger and makeup artist, it’s obvious that I love makeup. If was up to me I would spend the day frolicking in a sea of lipstick, while testing out the latest and great volumizing mascara. But unfortunately I don’t have the time or funds to do that. Instead, I usually spend too much time reading product reviews, cruising the isles of Sephora, and swatching products on my left hand.
I recently discovered a snazzy online beauty tool that has helped me sift through the clutter of the beauty world to find a beauty product that is a perfect match for me. With an expertly designed algorithm, BeautyDNA promises to help you “discover your perfect product” with a few clicks of a mouse.
After answering a series of questions to create my beauty profile, which ranged from my favorite scents to my least favorite ingredients, BeautyDNA matched me with my perfect product. In less than week after completing my profile, my perfect match arrived—a full-size bottle of Dr. Jules Spéciale Découverte Skin Care Anti-Aging Facial Serum. The pretty package also included my skin report, which has all the details about my new product (including where I can get more) and an explanation of exactly why this is the right product for me.
Not even my best friend could have matched me so well to this product. It has all of the attributes I listed in my profile, such as natural/organic, paraben-free, botanical fragrance and not a single trace of the things I dislike such as beachy scents.
The best part is that BeautyDNA is a monthly subscription service, so every month for a $25 fee I can expect a new beauty product to be waiting at my doorstep. Not only do I not have to leave my house to try out a new product, but I’m also saving money since some of the products are valued at more than the monthly subscription fee. Double win!
I can’t wait to see what will be in my blue box next month!
Have you tried or would you try BeautyDNA? Would you consider trying it?
