I’m thrilled that Spring has officially sprung. I’ve been anxiously anticipating the start of the new season and although it’s had a slow start in my neck of the woods the signs of warmer and drier days are finally in sight. I’m excited to see the change in the weather and all the beautiful blooms that come with Spring, but what I’m looking forward to the most is Spring dresses!
You know I love my dresses and it’s been months since I’ve exposed my legs to the world. I could probably use a healthy dose of self-tanner right about now, but I’m too stoked about the plus size Spring dresses that I picked up from CATHERINES.COM to worry about my pale legs.
CATHERINES has new plus size Spring dresses in sizes 16W-34W (0X-5X) that are right on trend with the new season. They have dresses in all styles and silhouettes designed to fit beautifully on any curvy figure. Best of all, these plus size dresses are perfect for Spring, Easter and beyond.

I love the bright turquoise color of the LA FLOR LACE DRESS FROM CATHERINES. This dress has 3/4 length sleeves and hits right above the knee, making it a perfect transitional piece for Spring. The lace fabric and inner lining have a nice weight too, so it’s not only warm but also elegant. The intricate lace design of this dress is the star of the show and is sure to get tons of compliments.
What I appreciate most about this dress is how versatile it is, which is why I decided to style it in two different ways!
Since it’s still chilly in Seattle right now, it’s important for me to have a layer on with MY DRESS that I can shed if the temperature starts to rise. I gave this feminine dress a little warmth and an edgy feel by pairing it with the CURVY COLLECTION REBELLIOUS JACKET and some studded heels. I love playing with edgy/chic and this dress is perfect to achieve this look.
Once the weather starts to get hotter, THIS DRESS will easily transition into late Spring and Summer for me, but depending on where you live, you may opt for styling it without a layer now. Something that’s also nice about this dress is that it can be dressed up or down giving you the option to make this a day or night look. I must say; I really like how the turquoise color of this shift dress pairs with brown!
The DESSERT DREAMS DRESS FROM CATHERINES caught my attention because it flawlessly incorporates a few of my favorite Spring trends. I love the shoulder action paired with the stretchy denim-inspired fabric. The cold shoulder is a trend that was hot last Spring and it’s making a comeback again this season. This dress also has a playful lace print at the hem making it another great dress option that can transition from Spring to Summer.
I prefer to show off the shoulder detail of THIS DRESS, but sometimes a JACKET is needed in the early Spring when the weather is still yo-yo-ing. This dress still looks super cute with a jacket and nice heels or wedges. In fact, it could be a great choice for a family Easter outing or anytime that you want to keep your look a little more conservative, while still embracing the cuteness that this dress has to offer.
The soft airy fabric of THIS DRESS makes it the perfect sun dress. You can easily give it a relaxed feel by pairing it with your favorite hat, sandals, and sunnies.
