I turned 30 a few months and I feel like fines were part of the welcoming to club 30. Seriously, what kind of welcome package is that? Apparently I wasn’t the only one who felt this way, since a few of my friends said they felt the same way.
Even with my extensive skincare routine, I’m not able to escape the wrath of Father Time. While I have nothing against injectables, I don’t think that a few fine lines is enough of a reason to turn to needles. Instead, I decided to try a no-needles product, designed to reduce fine lines.
Furlesse Review + How to Manage Fine Lines in Your 30s without Needles
Furlesse has a variety of easy to use patches that are designed to gently and naturally reduce wrinkles. The patches come in different sizes, all designed to fit your troubled spots. From lip lines, to crows feet, there is a clear translucent patch for your face. In case you are wondering, the patches are latex-free, hypoallergenic, BPA free and completely safe to use on your skin. Each package contains a 30 day supply of patches and retails for $19.99.
When I first heard about this product, I was confused on how it works. Then, I did a little research and learned that the founder of Furlesse Cathy Tousley created these patches as an alternative to using tape to smooth lines. Basically, keeping the skin stretched with a patch “irons out” the lines and wrinkles temporarily. Pretty cool right?
Furlesse Patches: The Break Down
- Elevens- Target the vertical furrows on the brow.
- Crows- Smooth stubborn crows feet around the eyes.
- Lip-sticks- Address both the expressions lines and upper lip creases.
- Rows- Tackle the horizontal lines on the forehead.
Using Furlesse Patches
Since my troubled areas are my forehead, under my eyes, and around my lips, I use the Furlesse Crows, Elevens, and Lip-Sticks. The patches can be used during the day or at night. I prefer to use them during the day because I’m weird about having anything on my face while I sleep. So, I pop them on in the morning while I get ready or after I get home from work. Once I’ve had the patches on for a few hours, I simply peel them off. The cool thing is, that even though I only wear my patches before a photo shoot or a night out, I still see a difference. Results can vary from a few hours to a week, but for me the results last about 8 hours.
Although I’m using the Furlesse patches, I’m still using a serum and a cream to continue to keep these little lines at bay. The key is to make sure that product is absorbed into your skin before applying the patch, so that it can adhere to your skin. Since I wear mine during the day, I typically moisturize after wearing my patches.
I think these patches are a great to keep in your beauty stash, especially for women who don’t have severe lines and wrinkles, or gals who aren’t down with Botox. Even if your Botox babe, you can still use the patches as party of your beauty routine.
