Floral Print Peg Pants + Summer Layering
This season I just can’t get enough of floral prints. From my floral print top to my DIY flower crown, my summer looks just keep blossoming!
At the beginning of the season I picked up these floral print peg pants from ASOS Curve because I thought that they were stylish and flattering. As a vertically challenged individual (I’m only 5’2), I’m always looking for ways to add a little height. I like these floral print peg pants because they look great paired with heels, so that I can get my small dose of added height. The key to pairing them with heels is pushing the pants up to your lower calves. Careful to not wear them to high, it should be up enough to see your ankles and appear baggy and loose fitting.
I also have to mention that these pants super incredibly comfy. They feel like PJ’s but look incredibly chic! They are also very cool and light, which is a must-have in the South Florida summer.
There are many ways to style these pants, but for this look I wanted to keep the look chic, yet professional enough that it could be worn to a meeting. I added a lightweight cropped faux leather jacket that is perfect for buildings that are pumping the cool air this summer. This is an easy layer to shed when in the hot and humid outdoors.
I think this outfit will also work as a great transitioning outfit as we start to enter the fall season in September.
