#EssentialUpgrade #AD
I’m officially 16 days into working towards my theme of exploring more in 2017. If you read my recent blog post about ways to make 2017 the best year ever, you know that I don’t believe in New Year’s resolutions. I believe in creating a theme for the year and infusing the theme into all facets of my life. My 2017 theme is “explore more.” I’m focusing my time and energy on learning about my passions by exploring the world around me.
I used to think that in order to explore the world I had to hop on a trans continent flight to a foreign place for weeks on end. The reality is that I can’t afford that at this point in my life, although this is definitely on my travel bucket list. I’m not going to waste my life waiting for a dream vacation to see the world. In fact, I’ve learned that there is so much to see right in my backyard. When I say backyard, I mean the Pacific Northwest a.k.a. my PNW wanderland!
Almost every weekend is an opportunity for me to explore more. I recently explored the Ballard Locks, Whidbey Island + Deception Pass, and my latest adventure lead me to Lincoln Park in West Seattle. This park offers trails and a beautiful view of the Puget Sound. I spent the morning there with my hubby and Diesel (Gia stayed home because she’s not a fan of going places where there are other dogs). We had such a nice time walking through the trails, playing fetch with Diesel, and looking for seals in the sound. We were only there for two hours, but in that short time I had the opportunity to disconnect from technology and connect with a few of my loved ones in nature. I was present, care-free, and made me feel very happy. Just another reminder that happiness doesn’t have to be expensive.
Worrying less with Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant Deodorant
As I continue to explore the world and myself more, one thing I’m learning to leave behind is my anxiety. I’m spending far less time focusing on things that I can’t control and more time making positive memories. One thing I no longer worry about is my underarms, particularly sweat marks from being active outdoors. This is something I worried about for a long time, but since I switched to Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant Deodorant a little over a year ago, it has become a worry of the past.
Why I made the #EssentialUpgrade to Dove Advanced Care
This may be TMI, but I’m sweaty girl. For obvious reasons I try to control my sweat, but when I was younger I used to struggle with sweat marks on my clothing. It something that made feel insecure for a long time, but that changed about a year ago. Although I have been using Dove products my entire life, I picked up this particular deodorant from Walmart for the first time last year. It has been a total game changer for me since then and I no longer have to allow my underarms to interfere with my desire to explore the outdoors.
Dove Advanced Care offers up to 48 hours of antiperspirant protection, so I can play in the park as much as I’d like without having to worry about underarm wetness or odor. It also contains Dove Nutrium Moisture and 1/4 moisturizers for underarm care to keep the underarm area soft. The fact that it contains 0% alcohol (ethanol) helps the underarm area recover from shaving irritation, something that I used to struggle with before I switched to Dove. I also love the Dove classic clean scent that is delicate, but it lets my know that my underarm area is protected.
Why Others Made the Switch to Dove Advanced Care
I’m not surprised to see that I’m not the only one that loved the Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant Deodorant. After checking out some of the Dove Reviews, I learned that they have quite a following. One of my favorite reviews is by someone that wrote, ” I am absolutely astonished at how good my underarms look and feel.” This is something I can totally relate to and is why I took the #EssentialUpgrade last year.
