Find Your Perfect Pair at Jag Jeans x Fit Code Denim Fit Lab

I think we can all agree that finding the perfect pair of jeans can be a pain on the butt. Either they are too long, too short, too baggy, too tight– the list goes on. For me, finding the right jeans has always been a challenge, so I usually avoid wearing them altogether; however, I love jeans when they actually fit. Since they are such a staple of a Pacific Northwest wardrobe, its become my mission to stock my closet with a few good pairs of jeans that actually fit my fluffy figure. Thankfully, that just got a whole lot easier for me.

Jag Jeans x Fit Code Denim Fit Lab Preview Event

During the blogger preview of the Jag Jeans x Fit Code Denim Fit Lab, I had the chance to discover two PNW brands that are changing the denim game.

Let’s start with Fit Code, which totally blew my mind with their techy approach to finding the right jeans. They’ve invested a ton of time and research into the science of finding the right pair of jeans across multiple brands because we all know that size inconsistency is a real struggle in the fashion world. No two size 16 jeans are cut the same, so Fit Code has developed a quick 5 question test to help create some clarity for you.

After taking the quiz, which literally takes 3 minutes, I was given my fit code. That code is determined by several factors, including your height and body shape. My code is a 350, which means that I have a more athletic figure. I don’t know if me and athletic even belong in the same sentence, but all I know that it works!

Now, let’s talk about Jag Jeans, which is one of Fit Code’s brand partners. I had never heard about Jag Jeans until I went to this event, but it’s one of the best discoveries that I’ve made in Seattle so far. Jag Jeans specialize in denim for women of all shapes and sizes. Women’s, petite’s, plus size– they’ve got every gal covered. If that wasn’t enough to make a fan, the fact that they have such a variety of denim styles and colors, made me a fan-girl for life.

Plus Size Jag Jeans: The Best Fit for my Shape

Since my Fit Code is a 350, the best Jag Jeans for my body are the Alex boyfriend jeans and the Nora Skinny jeans. I had a chance to try on both styles at the event and I liked them both, but since I’m trying to branch out with my style, I opted for the Alex boyfriend jeans. They are super soft and I feel like I style them well with boots. However, I haven’t stopped thinking about the Nora skinny jeans, so I think those will be my next pair of Jag Jeans.
