Beauty Buzz: The Makeup Show Orlando 2013 Products + Vendors
The Makeup Show Orlando 2013 is less than two weeks away and I can’t wait to attend the event. This is the 2nd year that The Makeup Show comes to Florida and the weekend beauty event is packed makeup vendors, artists and learning workshops for professionals in the makeup industry.
I’m really looking forward to the upcoming fun-filled because I will attend the show with a few of my blogging buddies from the South Florida Beauty & Fashion Bloggers group. I was also selected as one of the finalist in the “Face to Face” competition that will take place at the show and I’m stoked about this fabulous opportunity!
I’m extra excited about the show because their will be tons of vendors selling makeup products. Several brands will be launching new products and fall collections at the show. I love fall beauty trends and I want to stock my kit up with some new products, so this is going to be the perfect time to do so.
NARS will be introducing a new product at the Makeup Show called Eye Paints. These paints will be a multi-purpose product, which can be used as an eyeshadow and an eyeliner. They will come in 10 different shades and I can’t wait to test them out!
One of the things I must pick up at the show is brushes. It seems like I can never have enough brushes in my kit. I’m looking forward to the exclusive brush set that Crown Brush has put together in collaboration with makeup artist Ve Neill. I’m personally a fan of Crown Brush and recommend them to makeup mavens and makeup artist alike. If you’re going to be at the show, make sure to stop by their booth.
This year I have also decided to invest in more skin care products, both for myself and for my makeup kit. Dermalogica has just launched Clear Start, a new skincare line for teens and young adults. This skincare line is developed to prevent and treat symptoms of mild to moderate acne. Since I have acne prone skin, I look forward to trying out this product and reviewing it for my readers who also suffer with acne.
And last, but definitely not least—The new Fall color collection by Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics will be at the show. This collection consists of six new Lip Tars and six new Nail Lacquers. I’m a HUGE fan of OCC and I will definitely be picking up a few new liptars, as well as the concealers to add to my kit.
The Makeup Show Orlando will also feature over 75 beauty brands, 6 keynote speakers, 20 seminars, and 8 hands-on workshops. A few of the brands you will find at the show include: Diamond Sponsor MAKE UP FOR EVER, Platinum Sponsor Crown Brush and Temptu PRO, Supporting Sponsors Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, NARS, Stila, Cosmix School of Makeup Artistry, The Powder Group and On Makeup Magazine.
TheMakeup Show Orlando is held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 9am to 6pm and on Sunday, September 29, 2013 from 9am to 5pm at The Peabody Hotel Orlando, 9801 International Drive.
